Families and relationships can be challenging - that goes without saying. Sometimes problems pop up in families that aren’t easily resolved, sometimes two parents cannot stay living together happily. Sometimes these kinds of challenges require legal intervention and advice to help maintain cooperative parent relationships as well as strong parent-child relationships.
UnitingCare Community’s Family Law Support programs work with families to protect essential bonds between parents and their child in times of difficulty or separation.
Our programs help individuals, couples and families improve relationship skills and prevent family breakdown. In some cases, separation of parents has already occurred, and with this, we also help people during and after a separation to talk about parenting issues.
We help by providing programs and support such as:
- Family Relationship Centres
- Family Dispute Resolution
- Supporting Children after Separation
- Parenting Orders Program
- Children's Contact Service
