Disability Practitioner: Our Disability Practitioners specialise in providing a range of services to the people we support. This includes supporting people with a wide range of individual needs and abilities, including people with very high and complex needs. Our practitioners may work in supported accommodation and/or community based roles.
Family Worker: Our Family Workers work across a diverse range of roles to support families in crisis. This could be supporting women and children in refuge centres who are victims of domestic violence or it could be supporting entire family units who are dealing with divorce or other significant matters.
Childcare Assistant: Our Childcare Assistants provide high quality services to children aged six weeks to six years. This is a combination of general care services and assisting with early childhood educational needs and activities.
Youth Worker: Our Youth Workers work with children and young people living in a residential service in the care of the Department of Child Safety. The aim is to help them develop life skills, become independent, make informed choices and develop social networks. Youth Workers play an important role in helping facilitate healing, growing and building on a positive future for our clients.
Counsellor: Our Counsellors provide counselling, practical and emotional support to individuals and families. They undertake assessments, case reviews and referrals. We have counsellors who specialise in such areas as problem gambling, financial wellbeing, homelessness, domestic violence, families and children, as well as general counselling.
Crisis Supporter: Our Crisis Supporters assist callers to the Lifeline Crisis Support Line 13 11 14 and our Online Chat service to find immediate support in times of crisis or emotional distress.
Retail and logistics
Retail Shops: Our Shop Supervisors, Assistant Shop Supervisors and Shop Assistants provide efficient and professional service to our customers, contributing to the effective operation of our retail stores.
Distribution Centres: There are a variety of career opportunities at our distribution centres located throughout Queensland, including the positions of Sorters, Truck Drivers, Rag Cutters and Bin Maintenance Officers.
We have a variety of career options in our corporate office located in the Brisbane CBD which encompasses marketing and communications, human resources and volunteer management, corporate governance, quality, ICT, strategic planning, and financial management.
